Sensex up 32pts

The Sensex opened a tad higher (eight points) at 10,617. The index touched a high of 10,685 and then slipped into the negative zone to a low of 10,591.

The index has now rebounded into the positive zone and is up 32 points at 10,641.

Hindalco, Bajaj Auto and SBI have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 178, Rs 2,778 and Rs 738, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Maruti and Tata Steel are up 1.3% each to Rs 494, Rs 808 and Rs 540, respectively.

Reliance Communications has shed 1.6% to Rs 245.
