Sensex up 32pts; HDFC Bank zooms 6%

The Sensex is now up 32 points at 13,501.

HDFC Bank has zoomed 5.7% (Rs 62) to Rs 1,139. SBI has rallied 3.7% to Rs 1,222. HDFC has moved up 2.5% to Rs 1,570.

ACC has soared over 4% to Rs 1,062. Gujarat Ambuja is up 1% at Rs 139. Satyam has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 435, and Wipro has added 1% to Rs 552.

Infosys has slipped 2% to Rs 2,177. Ranbaxy has shed 1.7% to Rs 397.

Reliance Communications, Maruti and Tata Motors are down around 1.5% each at Rs 395, Rs 892 and Rs 813, respectively.

Out of 2,593 stocks traded so far, 1,533 have declined, 989 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
