Sensex up 32pts; pharma, cement stocks rise

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 32 points at 10,448.

Pharma stocks are witnessing fresh buying. Ranbaxy and Cipla have surged around 2% each to Rs 364 and Rs 227, respectively. Dr.Reddy's has added 1% to Rs 1,310.

Cement stocks too are witnessing fresh buying. Gujarat Ambuja has gained nearly 2% to Rs 106. Grasim and ACC are up around 1% each at Rs 2,011 and Rs 827, respectively.

Tata Motors has gained over 2% at Rs 716. Maruti has moved up 1.6% to Rs 752.

ITC has advanced 1.6% to Rs 167.

Bank stocks are witnessing profit taking. ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have declined 1% each to Rs 536 and Rs 755, respectively.
