Sensex up 333pts; HDFC Bank zooms 5%

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 352 points at 19,291, touched a high of 19,297 and the touched to a low of 19,211. The index is now up 333 points at 19,272.

HDFC Bank has zoomed nearly 5% to Rs 1,685. ICICI Bank has soared 2.6% to Rs 1,156.

Satyam and Maruti have surged 2.3% each to Rs 435 and Rs 989, respectivley.

Infosys has rallied 2% to Rs 1,600. Wipro, ACC and DLF have gained 1.7% each at Rs 457, Rs 1,093 and Rs 894, respectively.
