Sensex up 33pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 33 points at 15,649.

Hindalco and ONGC have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 157 and Rs 850, respectively.

Reliance Communications and Tata Steel are up 1% each at Rs 545 and Rs 700, respectively.

Cipla has slipped 1.5% to Rs 182. Ambuja Cements and Reliance Energy have declined 1% each to Rs 140 and Rs 852, respectively.

ACC and Wipro are the other prominent losers.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,323 stocks traded so far, 1,357 have advanced, 901 have declined and 65 are unchanged.
