Sensex up 34pts; HDFC Bank slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 34 points at 15,824.

The NSE Nifty is up 19 points at 4,766.

Reliance Energy has soared 3.5% to Rs 1,218. TCS has surged 2.3% to Rs 897.

Mahindra & Mahindra and Hindalco have rallied 2% each to Rs 620 and Rs 176, respectively.

Satyam and Reliance are up over 1% each at Rs 432 and Rs 2,442, respectively.

HDFC Bank has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 1,350. Bharti Airtel has shed 1.7% at Rs 806.

ICICI Bank has declined 1.3% to Rs 825. Ranbaxy is down 1% at Rs 466.
