Sensex up 35 pts, Reliance gains 2%

The Sensex has moved up 35 points to 7,780.

Reliance has advanced over 2% (Rs 15) to Rs 722. ITC is up Rs16 at Rs 1,725.

TCS has gained over a per cent (Rs 17) to Rs 1,401. Satyam is up Rs 5 at Rs 528, Infosys has added Rs 19 to Rs 2,365.

HDFC Bank has declined over a per cent (Rs 9) to Rs 638. L&T, Wipro, ACC, Gujarat Ambuja, HLL, Maruti and Tata Motors are trading on a weak note.

GTL has zoomed 13% to Rs 130. JB Chemicals has gained 6% to Rs 97.
Fertiliser scrips are attracting buying interest. Chambal Fertilisers has moved up 7% to Rs 39. Indo-Gulf Fertilisers, FACT and RCF are trading with gains.
