Sensex up 355pts; SBI soars 6%

The Sensex is now up 355 points at 10,362.

SBI has soared over 6% to Rs 733. ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank have advanced over 5% each to Rs 493 and Rs 735, respectively.

Tata Motors has rallied 5.5% to Rs 694. Reliance Communications, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto and Ranbaxy have gained around 5% each to Rs 251, Rs 164, Rs 2,511 and Rs 342, respectively.

Out of 2,316 stocks traded so far, 1,351 have advanced, 895 have declined and 70 are unchanged.
