Sensex up 357pts; Dr.Reddy's surges 5%

The Sensex is now up 357 points at 12,937.

HLL and Gujarat Ambuja have soared around 7% each to Rs 180 and Rs 111, respectively. Dr.Reddy's has rallied 5.3% to Rs 668.

HDFC Bank has surged 4.5% to Rs 957. BHEL and Wipro have moved up 4% each to Rs 2,097 and Rs 579, respectively.

Grasim, Reliance Communications and Tata Motors have gained around 3.5% each at Rs 2,184, Rs 425 and Rs 766, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,505 stocks traded so far, 1,491 have advanced, 962 have declined and 52 are unchanged.
