Sensex up 35pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 35 points at 15,843.

The NSE Nifty is up 17 points at 4,795.

Infosys has soared 5.5% to Rs 1,500, and TCS has zoomed 4.5% to Rs 949. Wipro has surged 3.5% to Rs 420, and Satyam has gained 3% at Rs 447.

Ranbaxy has rallied 5% to Rs 466. DLF has moved up 2.4% to Rs 612, and Hindustan Unilever has added 1.4% to Rs 238.

HDFC has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 2,314. HDFC Bank has slipped 2.3% to Rs 1,298.

ACC, Ambuja Cements and Hindalco are down over 1% each at Rs 802, Rs 116 and Rs 174, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,328 stocks traded, 1,322 have advanced, 948 have declined and 58 are unchanged.
