Sensex up 35pts; HDFC rallies 3%

The Sensex has rebounded into positive zone and is now up 35 points at 10,730.

HDFC has advanced 3% to Rs 1,165. Tata Motors and ACC have gained 2% each at Rs 803 and Rs 796, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja, Satyam and NTPC are up 1.7% each at Rs 101, Rs 732 and Rs 113, respectively.

Reliance Communications and ITC have dropped nearly 2% each to Rs 249 and Rs 181, respectively.

Out of 2,214 stocks traded so far, 1,151 have declined, 990 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
