Sensex up 35pts; ICICI Bank moves up

The Sensex is now up 35 points at 12,272.

Tata Steel has surged 2.5% to Rs 509, and Tata Motors has rallied 2% to Rs 852.

ICICI Bank and Reliance have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 665 and Rs 1,171, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has spurted 1.2% to Rs 475.

Bajaj Auto and ITC have slipped 1.3% each to Rs 2,881 and Rs 185, respectively.

HLL, Dr.Reddy's and TCS are down 1% each at Rs 255, Rs 742 and Rs 1,033, respectively.

Out of 2,488 stocks traded so far, 1,229 have declined, 1,173 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
