Sensex up 35pts; Maruti, Hindalco weak

The Sensex slipped into the negative zone for a brief while and touched a low of 13,183. The index is now up 35 points at 13,222.

Infosys has advanced over 2% to Rs 2,114. TCS and Bharti Airtel have moved up 1.3% each to 1,074 and Rs 551, respectively.

Tata Motors, HDFC, Reliance Communications and ONGC are up over 1% each.

Maruti and Hindalco have slipped over 1% each to Rs 944 and Rs 185, respectively.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,294 stocks traded so far, 1,241 have advanced, 976 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
