Sensex up 35pts; ONGC, Infosys gain 2%

The Sensex is now up 35 points at 10,544.

HDFC, TCS, Bharti Airtel and Satyam have advanced over 2.5% each to Rs 1,194, Rs 1,794, Rs 380 and Rs 709, respectively.

ONGC and Infosys have gained 2% each at Rs 1,114 and Rs 3,166, respectively.

ICICI Bank has declined 2% to Rs 489. Tata Steel, HDFC Bank, ITC and HLL are down over 1% each.

Out of 2,293 stocks traded so far, 1,372 have declined, 839 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
