Sensex up 35pts; SBI, Hindalco, HUL down 1%

The Sensex is now up 35 points at 15,343.

BHEL and Tata Steel have surged 2.3% each to Rs 1,752 and Rs 665, respectively. ICICI Bank has soared nearly 2% to Rs 900.

Wipro, Cipla and Maruti are up over 1% each at Rs 483, Rs 189 and Rs 847, respectively.

SBI, Hindalco and Hindustan Unilever have slipped 1% each to Rs 1,686, Rs 160 and Rs 201, respectively.

Out of 2,597 stocks traded so far, 1,487 have advanced, 1,054 have declined and 56 are unchanged.
