Sensex up 35pts, TV Today zooms 20%

The Sensex is moving in a narrow range, and is now up 35 points at 7,246.

Infosys is steady at Rs 2,362 - up Rs 11. TCS is still down Rs 16 at Rs 1,338, and Wipro has declined Rs 4 to Rs 740.

ITC is up Rs 5 at Rs 1,676. ONGC is up Rs 5 at Rs 988. Reliance is up Rs 4 at Rs 644, and SBI is up Rs 5 at 712.

ACC is steady at Rs 389 - up Rs 4. Grasim is steady at Rs 1,072 - up Rs 12.

Cipla is still up 2% (Rs 6) at Rs 325. Dr. Reddy's is steady at Rs 771 - up Rs 11.

HDFC is up 2% (Rs 17) at Rs 887. HDFC Bank is up Rs 10 at Rs 628.

Hindalco has moved up 2.5% (Rs 30) to Rs 1,220.

TV Today has zoomed 20% to Rs 101. Color Chips has jumped 16% to Rs 22. Tata Tele is still up 16% at Rs 21. UTV has gained 14% to Rs 172.

Advances are ahead of declines nearly 2.5:1 - out of 2,516 scrips traded, 1,7111 have moved up, 748 have declined and 57 are unchanged.

SRF continues to be the most active counter with a turnover of nearly  Rs 105 crore followed by Reliance (Rs 64 crore) and Reliance Capital (Rs 59 crore).
