Sensex up 36pts; Bajaj, Infosys shine

The Sensex is now up 36 points at 11,502.

Bajaj Auto has gained 2.5% to Rs 2,779. Infosys has advanced 2% to Rs 1,796.

Grasim has moved up 1.6% to Rs 2,234. Satyam, Reliance and ACC are up over 1% each to Rs 802, Rs 1,067 and Rs 912, respectively.

Reliance Energy and ONGC have shed nearly 2% each to Rs 448 and Rs 1,188, respectively. Ranbaxy has declined 1.6% to Rs 401.

Dr.Reddy's, HDFC, Hero Honda and HLL are down over 1% each to Rs 1,476, Rs 1,287, Rs 699 and Rs 236, respectively.

Out of 2,543 stocks traded so far, 1,432 have advanced, 1,023 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
