Sensex up 36pts; market breadth still +ve

The Sensex is now up 36 points at 11,568.

SBI is up around 3.5% at Rs 905. Hero Honda and Tata Steel have gained 1.3% each at Rs 722 and Rs 524, respectively.

Grasim, Reliance, ICICI Bank and Reliance Energy are the other notable gainers.

Tata Motors and HDFC Bank have slipped 1% each to Rs 851 and Rs 846, respectively.

Reliance Communications is the other significant loser.

The market breadth is still positive - out of 2,355 stocks traded so far, 1,444 have advanced, 834 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
