Sensex up 36pts; Maruti, Bajaj Auto up 2%

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 36 points at 9921.

Tata Motors has rallied 4.5% to Rs 758. Cipla has surged 2.8% to Rs 216.

Tata Steel and Grasim have gained 2.5% each to Rs 473 and Rs 1,797, respectively.

Maruti and Bajaj Auto have advanced 2% each to Rs 743 and Rs 2,704, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro has shed 4% to Rs 2,029. SBI has slipped 2.8% to Rs 747. Wipro is down 2.4% to Rs 430.

ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel are down 1.3% each to Rs 499 and Rs 362, respectively.

Out of 2,365 stocks traded so far, 1,417 have advanced, 879 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
