Sensex up 36pts; Satyam slips 1%

The Sensex is now up 36 points at 13,173.

Reliance Energy has surged over 3% to Rs 529. HDFC Bank has advanced 2.2% to Rs 1,040, and ICICI Bank has added 1.8% to Rs 814.

BHEL and Hero Honda are up over 1% each at Rs 2,410 and Rs 722, respectively.

Satyam has slipped 1% to Rs 424. Cipla and Wipro are down nearly 1% each at Rs 269 and Rs 539, respectively.

Out of 2,077 stocks traded so far, 1,206 have advanced, 811 have declined and 60 are unchanged.
