Sensex up 370pts, L&T, ICICI Bank up 3%

The Sensex is now up 370 points at 15,203.

The NSE Nifty is up 97 points at 4,630.

Wipro has zoomed over 6% to Rs 382, and Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has soared 5.5% to Rs 212.

Satyam has surged 4.5% to Rs 387. HDFC Bank has rallied 3.7% to Rs 1,278.

Larsen & Toubro and ICICI Bank have advanced 3.3% each to Rs 2,857 and Rs 793, respectively.

Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors and Reliance Communications have advanced over 3% each to Rs 782, Rs 638 and Rs 513, respectively.

Reliance has gained 2.5% at Rs 2,200.

Out of 2,663 stocks traded so far, 1,510 have declined, 1,077 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
