Sensex up 37pts; ONGC, Satyam slip

The Sensex is now up 37 points 14,255.

ICICI Bank has surged nearly 2% to Rs 980. Bajaj Auto and SBI have rallied 1.5% each to Rs 2,473 and Rs 1,155, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, HLL, Grasim and Dr.Reddy's are up over 1% each to Rs 1,710, Rs 214, Rs 2,470 and Rs 719, respectively.

Hero Honda and HDFC have slipped over 2% each to Rs 672 and Rs 1,717, respectively.

ONGC, Tata Steel, Gujarat Ambuja, Satyam and NTPC are down over 1% each at Rs 960, Rs 563, Rs 119, Rs 461 and Rs 155, respectively.

Out of 2,565 stocks traded so far, 1,397 have declined, 1,093 have advanced and 75 are unchanged.
