Sensex up 381pts; market breadth positive

The Sensex is now up 381 points at 9310.

HDFC Bank has zoomed nearly 11% to Rs 711. HLL, Grasim and BHEL have soared over 8% each to Rs 202, Rs 1,725 and Rs 1,735, respectively.

Infosys (Rs 2,650) and Tata Steel (Rs 410) are up 6.7% and 6.4%, respectively.

Out of 2,288 stocks traded so far, 1,365 have advanced, 880 have declined and 43 are unchanged.
