Sensex up 38pts

The Sensex has moved up 38 points to 7,914.

Auto scrips are on fire in noon deals. Maruti has zoomed over 6% (Rs 31) to Rs 516. Tata Motors has also jumped over 6% (Rs 29) to Rs 498. While Hero Honda has advanced 4% (Rs 27) to Rs 691, Bajaj is up Rs 42 at Rs 1,498.

Tata Steel is up Rs 8 at Rs 401. ONGC is steady at Rs 984 - up Rs 8.

Cipla has gained Rs 4 to Rs 348. Dr. Reddy's and Ranbaxy are also in positive zones.

L&T has declined 1.6% (Rs 21) to Rs 1,320. HDFC, Grasim, Infosys, ICICI Bank and NTPC continue to be weak.

Advances and declines are evenly matched - out of 2,619 scrips traded, 1,312 have moved up, 1,252 have declined and 55 are unchanged.
