Sensex up 38pts; ACC drops 3%

The Sensex is now up 38 points at 19,130.

Satyam has zoomed 5.5% to Rs 426, and Infosys has soared 3.5% to Rs 1,695. TCS has surged 2.3% to Rs 1,045, and Wipro has gained nearly 2% at Rs 492.

Reliance Energy has rallied 3.5% to Rs 1,948. Tata Motors has advanced 2.3% to Rs 707, and Mahindra & Mahindra has added 1.8% to Rs 792.

ACC has plunged nearly 3% to Rs 1,001. Cipla has tumbled nearly 2% to Rs 211.

ITC has shed 1.7% at Rs 196, and Ranbaxy has slipped 1.5% to Rs 406.

BHEL and Grasim are down over 1% each at Rs 2,370 and Rs 3,539, respectively.

Out of 2,940 stocks traded so far, 1,718 have declined, 1,191 have advanced and 31 are unchanged.
