Sensex up 38pts; Bajaj slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 38 points at 13,225.

HDFC has rallied nearly 3% to Rs 1,570. Infosys has gained 2.2% to Rs 2,116. Cipla has moved up 1.7% to Rs 268.

Gujarat Ambuja and Dr.Reddy's have advanced 1.3% each to Rs 130 and Rs 786, respectively.

Tata Motors, Reliance Communications and HLL are up 1% each to Rs 825, Rs 393 and Rs 249, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has dropped nearly 2% to Rs 2,743. NTPC has slipped 1.5% to Rs 131. Maruti and Tata Steel are the other major losers.

Out of 2,559 scrips traded so far, 1,266 have moved up and 1,218  have declined and the rest are unchanged.
