Sensex up 38pts; Cipla gains 4%

The Sensex is now up 38 points at 15,460.

Cipla has soared over 4% to Rs 179.

ACC has surged 1.3% to Rs 1,086, and ICICI Bank has advanced 1% to Rs 916.

Tata Motors has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 690. NTPC, Maruti and Mahindra & Mahindra are the other prominent losers.
