Sensex up 38pts in early trades

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 43 points at 15,547, but soon slipped to a low of 15,469. The index, however, rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 38 points at 15,543.

ICICI Bank and Ambuja Cements are the notable gainers.

HDFC and HDFC Bank are the prominent losers.
