Sensex up 38pts, NTPC gains 3%

The Sensex is now up 38 points at 7,249.

Infosys has gained Rs 17 to Rs 2,367. TCS is still down Rs 12 at Rs 1,342, and Wipro is down Rs 2 at Rs 743.

ITC has moved up Rs 9 to Rs 1,680. Reliance is steady at Rs 641. SBI is up Rs 6 at Rs 712.

Grasim has advanced 1% (Rs 11) to Rs 1,071. ACC is still up Rs 3 at Rs 388.

Cipla has added 2.6% (Rs 8) to Rs 327. Dr. Reddy's is up 1.5% (Rs 11) at Rs 771.

HDFC has jumped 3% (Rs 25) at Rs 895. HDFC Bank is up 2% (Rs 11) at Rs 629.

NTPC has gained 3% (Rs 3) to Rs 88.

L&T has dropped Rs 15 to Rs 1,171. Maruti and Tata Motors are also trading on a  weak  note.
