Sensex up 39pts; HLL slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 39 points at 14,130.

Tata Motors has gained 1.5% at Rs 891. Reliance Energy, Wipro and SBI have moved up around 1.3% each to Rs 520, Rs 621 and Rs 1,152, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja, ITC, Reliance Communications, Bharti Airtel and ONGC are up around 1% each at Rs 139, Rs 176, Rs 466, Rs 714 and Rs 912, respectively.

HLL has shed 1.8% to Rs 205, and Tata Steel has slipped 1.4% to Rs 457.

HDFC and Bajaj Auto are down around 1% each at Rs 1,653 and Rs 2,739, respectively.

Out of 2,374 stocks traded so far, 1,207 have advanced, 1,112 have declined and 55 are unchanged.
