Sensex up 40pts, Bajaj slips 1.4%

The Sensex is now up 40 points at 12,664.

HDFC Bank is still up Rs 21 at Rs 991. ICICI Bank is steady at Rs 738 - up Rs 17.

Infosys is still up Rs 30 at Rs 2,072.

Bajaj has dropped 1.4% (Rs 40) to Rs 2,779. Hero Honda is still down Rs 10 at Rs 739.

Advances continue to be ahead of declines - out of 2,292 scrips traded, 1,263 have moved up, and 945 have declined.
