Sensex up 417pts; HDFC soars 3%

The Sensex is now up 417 points at 19,580.

All index stocks are in positive zone.

Infosys has zoomed 5% to Rs 1,783. Wipro has soared 4.5% to Rs 514, and TCS has surged 3.5% to Rs 1,082. Satyam has gained 2.8% at Rs 440.

HDFC has rallied over 3% to Rs 2,813. ONGC and ICICI Bank have moved up nearly 3% each to Rs 1,225 and Rs 1,190, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has advanced 2.5% to Rs 938. Reliance Energy, Tata Steel and HDFC Bank have added 2% each to Rs 1,980, Rs 841 and Rs 1,679, respectively.
