The Sensex is now up 41 points at 14,693.

Bajaj Auto has soared 4.7% to Rs 3,150.

Larsen & Toubro and Hindalco have advanced over 1% each to Rs 1,774 and Rs 177, respectively.

Reliance Communications has slipped 1% to Rs 484.
