Sensex up 42pts; TCS sheds 2%

The Sensex is now up 42 points at 13,022.

NTPC has surged 2.7% to Rs 149. HDFC Bank and Dr.Reddy's have rallied 2% each to Rs 951 and Rs 719, respectively.

Reliance Communications, Hero Honda and Tata Motors have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 425, Rs 689 and Rs 725, respectively.

TCS has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 1,224. HDFC has dropped 1.5% to Rs 1,511, and HLL is down 1% at Rs 202.
