Sensex up 442pts; Reliance up 4%

The Sensex is now up 442 points at 16,068.

The NSE Nifty is up 116 points at 4,855.

ICICI Bank has zoomed 5.5% to Rs 798. HDFC has soared 4.8% to Rs 2,473, and Jaiprakash Associates has surged 4.4% to Rs 235.

Infosys and Reliance have rallied around 4% each to Rs 1,480 and Rs 2,435, respectively.

DLF, SBI and Satyam have moved up around 3% each to Rs 646, Rs 1,671 and Rs 409, respectively.

HDFC Bank and Hindalco have gained 2.7% each at Rs 1,344 and Rs 172, respectively. Bharti Airtel and Reliance Energy have added 2.5% each to Rs 825 and Rs 1,321, respectively.

ONGC, TCS and Wipro are up around 2% each at Rs 1,033, Rs 853 and Rs 417, respectively.
