Sensex up 44pts; Reliance, Tata Motors shine

The Sensex is now up 44 points at 11,492.

Dr.Reddy's, Reliance and Tata Motors have advanced around 2% each to Rs 1,483, Rs 1,066 and Rs 833, respectively.

ICICI Bank, BHEL, Ranbaxy and HDFC are up over 1% each.

Reliance Energy has dropped over 2% to Rs 469. ONGC and Hindalco are down nearly 2% each at Rs 1,216 and Rs 166, respectively.

Tata Steel has shed 1.5% to Rs 525.

Out of 2,364 stocks traded so far, 1,506 have declined, 800 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
