The Sensex has moved back to higher levels and is now up 442 points at 9,605.
DLF has zoomed 13.5% to Rs 251, and Grasim has soared nearly 11% to Rs 1,071.
Tata Steel has surged over 9% to Rs 214. Reliance and Reliance Communications have rallied nearly 9% each to Rs 225 and Rs 1,218, respectively.
ACC, Wipro and Jaiprakash Associates has gained 8.5% each at Rs 470, Rs 258 and Rs 74, respectively.
Sterlite and Reliance Infrastructrue have moved up 8% each to Rs 270 and Rs 598, respectively. ICICI Bank has added 7.6% to Rs 398.
Mahindra & Mahindra and HDFC are up over 7% each at Rs 266 and Rs 1,618, respectively.
Ranbaxy, however, has slipped 1.4% to Rs 210.
Out of 2,443 stocks traded so far, 1,442 have advanced, 892 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
