Sensex up 45points in moorat trade

 The Sensex gained more than 1,800 points in Samvat 2059. The BSE Sensex closed at 4,802.28, a gain of 44.91 points, recording its second straight gain. It was firm throughout the seventy-five minute trading session.

 After opening 57 points higher at 4,814.36, the Sensex moved in an intra-day range of 35 points, touching a high of 4,828.27 and a low of 4,793.48 in intra-day trades.

 The NSE S&P CNX Nifty Index closed at 1,521.95, gaining 15.90 points, or 1.06 cent. Rajiv Sampat, director, Parag Parikh Securities, says,
