Sensex up 45pts; Cipla spurts 2%

The Sensex is now up 45 points at 11,744.

Cipla has moved up 1.8% to Rs 254. Gujarat Ambuja has added 1.4% to Rs 114.

Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Maruti, Larsen & Toubro, HLL, Reliance Energy and Tata Steel have advanced over 1% each.

Hero Honda has slipped 1% to Rs 713. ITC and HDFC are the other notable losers.
