Sensex up 46 pts, Alfa Laval zooms 16%

The Sensex has moved up 46 points to 7,791.

Reliance is steady at Rs 720 - up 1.8% (Rs 13). ITC is now up Rs 19 at Rs 1,728.

Satyam has gained Rs 8 to Rs 530. TCS is up Rs 16 at Rs 1,399, and Infosys is steady at Rs 2,364.

Tata Power has moved up over 2% (Rs 10) to Rs 441. Hindalco, Bharti, HDFC, NTPC and BHEL are also trading with gains.

L&T has dropped over a per cent (Rs 15) to Rs 1,327. HDFC is still down a per cent at Rs 641.

Alfa Laval has zoomed 16% (Rs 132) to Rs 948.

Advances are ahead of declines - out of 2,615 scrips traded, 1,584 have moved up, 982 have declined and 49 are unchanged.
