Sensex up 46 pts, ICICI Bank gains 3.5%

The Sensex, which eased from higher levels in late noon trades, has bounced back sharply on fresh buying support in most of the counters. It is now up 46 points at 7,551. The Nifty is up eight points at 2,300.

ICICI Bank has zoomed 3.5% (Rs 17) to Rs 507, and SBI is up a per cent (Rs 4) at Rs 747.

Bharti has gained 2.83% (Rs 8) to Rs 275.

ITC is up 1.5% at Rs 1,691, while ONGC is up a per cent (Rs 5) at Rs 967. Reliance has drifted into the green to Rs 689 - up Rs 2.. HLL is down a rupee at Rs 163.

Dr. Reddy's is up over 3% (Rs 24) to Rs 790. Cipla is down 1.77% (Rs 6) at Rs 336.

TCS has dropped 1.42% (Rs 18) to Rs 1,265, while Wipro has lost a per cent (Rs 6) to Rs 707.

BHEL has declined Rs 9 to Rs 987.
