Sensex up 465pts; breadth fairly +ve

The Sensex is now up 465 points at 19,628.

All index stocks are in positive zone.

Infosys and Wipro have zoomed 4.7% each to Rs 1,777 and Rs 515, respectively. TCS has soared 4.5% to Rs 1,092, and Satyam has surged over 3% to Rs 441.

HDFC and ICICI Bank have rallied 4% each to Rs 2,836 and Rs 1,203, respectively.

ONGC and Tata Steel have moved up nearly 3% each to Rs 1,225 and Rs 848, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has advanced 2.7% to Rs 939. HDFC Bank and Reliance Energy have added 2.3% each to Rs 1,685 and Rs 1,985, respectively.

BHEL and Mahindra & Mahindra have gained 2% each at Rs 2,417 and Rs 801, respectively.

NTPC, Larsen & Toubro and ITC are up 1.7% each at Rs 233, Rs 4,051 and Rs 200, respectively.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,597 stocks traded so far, 1,980 have advanced, 584 have declined and 33 are unchanged.
