Sensex up 466pts; Hind Unilever weak

The Sensex is now up 466 points at 18,885.

Reliance Energy has zoomed over 8% to Rs 1,771. ONGC has soared over 6% to Rs 1,160.

HDFC Bank, Tata Steel, Maruti and Hindalco have surged over 5% each to Rs 1,508, Rs 893, Rs 1,152 and Rs 188, respectively.

Reliance Communications has gained 4.6% at Rs 751, and Bharti Airtel has rallied 4% to Rs 1,111.

HDFC, BHEL, NTPC and ACC are up around 3% each at  Rs 2,551, Rs 2,413, Rs 224 and Rs 1,286, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever has slipped 1.5% to Rs 218.

Out of 2,756 stocks traded so far, 1,933 have advanced, 770 have declined and 53 are unchanged.
