Sensex up 46pts; breadth -ve

The Sensex is now up 46 points at 14,852.

ACC has soared nearly 10% to Rs 1,031. Ambuja Cements has surged 4% to Rs 129. Grasim has gained 1.8% at Rs 2,750.

Tata Motors has rallied 2% to Rs 702, and Cipla has moved up 1.8% to Rs 217.

ITC, NTPC and Reliance are up around 1% each at Rs 158, Rs 154 and Rs 1,722, respectively.

ONGC has shed 1.5% to Rs 875. Infosys and Wipro have slipped over 1% each to Rs 1,926 and Rs 509, respectively.

Out of 2,644 stocks traded so far, 1,372 have declined, 1,195 have advanced and 77 are unchanged.
