Sensex up 46pts; HLL, Hindalco firm

The Sensex is now up 46 points at 13,205.

Hero Honda have rallied 4.4% to Rs 696, and Bajaj Auto has surged 3.6% to Rs 2,604. HDFC has flared up 3.6% to Rs 1,563.

Hindalco has gained 3.5% at Rs 142. Tata Steel, HLL and Grasim have advanced over 2% each to Rs 463, Rs 180 and Rs 2,197, respectively.

ONGC, SBI and Ranbaxy are up 1.7% each at Rs 813, Rs 1,070 and Rs 349, respectively.

ITC and HDFC Bank have slipped over 2% each to Rs 169 and Rs 961, respectively. Larsen & Toubro has shed 1.4% to Rs 1,519.

Out of 2,364 stocks traded so far, 1,558 have advanced, 742 have declined and 64 are unchanged.
