Sensex up 47pts; breadth fairly positive

The Sensex is now up 47 points at 13,751.

NTPC has rallied over 3% to Rs 155. Bharti Airtel has surged over 2% to Rs 629.

ITC and Larsen & Toubro are up 1% each at Rs 181 and Rs 1,400, respectively.

Wipro has slipped over 1% to Rs 583.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 1,993 stocks traded so far, 1,266 have advanced, 666 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
