Sensex up 47pts; Infosys stands firm

The Sensex is now up 47 points at 13,234.

Infosys has surged 2.5% to Rs 2,123. HDFC has advanced 1.7% to Rs 1,552.

Dr.Reddy's, Tata Motors and TCS are up over 1% each at Rs 786, Rs 825 and Rs 1,070, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has slipped 1.6% to Rs 2,750. Hindalco, NTPC and Maruti are the other major losers.

Out of 2,516 stocks traded so far, 1,257 have advanced, 1,161 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
