Sensex up 47pts; Rel Comm surges 3%

The Sensex is now up 47 points at 13,818.

Bajaj Auto has rallied nearly 4% to Rs 2,710. Reliance Communications has surged nearly 3% to Rs 478.

Infosys has gained 2% at Rs 2,013. NTPC, ICICI Bank and TCS are up over 1% each at Rs 153, Rs 853 and Rs 1,242, respectively.

ACC has dropped 2.4% to Rs 855. HLL, Cipla and HDFC have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 187, Rs 205 and Rs 1,656, respectively.

ITC, Reliance Energy, HDFC Bank and Grasim have declined 1% each to Rs 162, Rs 510, Rs 1,003 and Rs 2,467, respectively.

Out of 2,307 stocks traded so far, 1,210 have advanced, 1,010 have declined and 87 are unchanged.
