Sensex up 48pts; L&T surges 2.5%

The Sensex touched a high of 10,137, and is now up 48 points at 10,090.

Larsen & Toubro has surged 2.5% to Rs 2,135. Cipla has spurted 2% to Rs 222.

ONGC and Bajaj Auto have gained 1.8% each at Rs 1,082 and Rs 2,640, respectively.

Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Reliance and Hindalco are up over 1.5% each.
