Sensex up 495pts; Hero Honda, Grasim zoom 9%

The Sensex is now up 495 points at 9424.

HDFC Bank has zoomed 9% to Rs 700. Hero Honda and Grasim have soared nearly 9% each at Rs 700 and Rs 1,734, respectively.

BHEL and HLL have surged over 8% each to Rs 1,742 and Rs 202, respectively.

Infosys has rallied nearly 8% to Rs 2,679. HDFC and Satyam have spurted over 7% each to Rs 1,070 and Rs 615, respectively.

Out of 2,344 stocks traded so far, 1,488 have advanced, 813 have declined and 44 are unchanged.
